Medical Editing and Project Management
I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 15 years in a variety of positions but most recently as an editor and project manager for medical publications. My responsibilities included liaising with authors and journal editors, substantive editing of clinical manuscripts, literature searching, fact checking, creating tables and graphs, preparing abstracts, assisting with the preparation of journal submission packages, and supervising staff and freelance writers and editors.
